They always look good
They always look cool
They have plenty of money
They are always happy
They always have good food and eat a lot
They are always healthy
They are always fine
And that their jobs are easy.
But these are all lies....
They will never tell you that most of the time they don't look good and that their jobs is not as cool as one think it is.
They will never tell you that they always run out of money.
They will never tell you that they're sad.
They will never tell you that sometimes they can't bear to eat the food that is serve on their table.
They will never tell you when they're sick.
They will never tell you if things don't go smoothly.
They will never tell you that the job is difficult and that the mental, emotional, and physical stress is so high.
They will only tell you that they're okay, every thing is okay, life will be better, and that we're all going to be fine.
They will only tell you when will they be home, but sometimes they ain't coming back. 😢
They do lie so that they can survive the mental, emotional, and physical breakdown. They lie to do their duties as Seafarer with honesty and professionalism. And they do this because they love you, their families. They don't want you to be worried sick even though they are always home sick as hell.
Life is strange on this side. The least we can do is understand them and always pray for them. ❤️🙏😍
